English Community manager (DOFUS) H/F

Job Description

Ankama Games is looking for a Community Manager to work on the DOFUS project and help improving players’ game experience. The person in charge of this role will be the voice for DOFUS team towards its English-speaking communities and advocating internally for the needs of the players.

Daily:

  • Engage the community on the forum and social media by initiating positive and supportive conversations around updates, content, contests, and information that will be of interest of the community.
  • Collect and funnel players issues and feedback from the community to the correct escalation paths to ensure community-driven game improvement.
  • Hosting monthly / weekly episodes of Ankama Live on our Twitch channel.
  • As for all Community Managers at Ankama, ensure that information is shared with stakeholders.

Desired Profile

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, flexible and able to work with multiple deadlines.
  • A passion for MMORPG games, social media, and online communications.
  • Experience with community moderation.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated and problem-solving abilities.
  • Be brave. Be kind. Be patient. Dare to tackle sensitive subjects in a matter of fact, benevolent way.

Preference to candidates who:

  • Have at least one prior experience in community management with a launched game
  • Are comfortable speaking in public
  • Have reasonable skill in French
