[TUTORIAL] Troubleshooting the Launcher

We've caught several bugs and are in the process of fixing them. However, so you don't have to wait for the next patch and can get to playing as soon as possible, here's the Launcher quick fix kit:

Issues with the Launcher

  • Restart the Launcher.
  • Make sure that the Launcher is completely shut down by checking the notification area.
    1. If needed, uncheck the "Minimize to the system tray" option.
    2. If needed, use the task manager to ensure that the Launcher is completely shut down (in the event of a crash, it might keep running in the background).
    3. If needed, end the corresponding process(es).
    4. Uninstall and reinstall the Launcher if problems persist.
     

    In-Game Issues

    • Repair the game.
      1. Turn off automatic updates.
      2. You have a Repair option in the settings of installed games.
      3. Uninstall/reinstall the game.
      4. To avoid having to reinstall everything, you can:
        1. Start installing the game wherever you like.
        2. Stop the install.
        3. Copy the files already downloaded to the install folder.
        4. Restart downloading the files. > The Launcher should launch an automatic repair and complete installation.
        5. If you have a good connection, installing from scratch is recommended.
        6. If the problem persists, it could be an issue with the Launcher (see the 1st section).

        If the issue persists, contact us, if possible with the logs available in Settings > Logs > Open the Log Directory > copy the content of the application.log file.
