Exchange and Transaction Security.

Thanks to its long date experience in the computerized data processing, ANKAMA does its best to maintain confidential the users' data as well as that of our products and services. In pursuance to our confidentiality policy, we guarantee you that your personal data will never be transmitted to third party companies, without your prior consent. Besides, all of our experts constantly work to improve the security and protection of our servers which contain these data to be ready and face any threat.

Regarding your banking data, please note that ANKAMA does not keep (in any ways) neither your credit card number, nor its validity date or any other information of that type. Furthermore, the most confidential phase of a credit card transaction, meaning the moment when you enter the data, is run on secured servers owned by one of the most famous European banks (BNP Paribas / Royal Bank of Scotland). Therefore, ANKAMA never accesses your banking data, which cancels any disclosure risks.

Of course, for these measures to be entirely effective, you must respect a few security rules yourself.

Security Warnings and Advise.

All of the security measures will be useless if you do not respect some basic security instructions. ANKAMA's responsibility shall not be engaged, if you do not respect these instructions.

Never reveal your personal data contained in your ANKAMA account.

You should never communicate your account login, your password, your secret question and it related answer on our games, forums or any other websites owned by third party companies. Ill-intentioned persons could use them to usurp your identity, delete or steal data from your account.

Never share your account with another person.

It can be tempting to share your account with a close friend or even a member of your family. Ideally, it's a way to share resources collected in game, to make your character level up faster, or to benefit from our products and services at a lesser cost. However, the main issue is that in case of disagreement (either in game or in real life), or inquisitiveness from and to a third party, you might lose everything. Therefore, if we forbid you to share your account it's to protect you. May you disregard this interdiction; you must be ready to assume the consequences.

Flee from persons, websites and forums that pretend being able to give you privileges.

Fraud, phishing (website which uses the same graphic charter than that of an official website), theft, identity usurpation, lies and dishonesty are practices that unfortunately exist on the Internet as much (if not more) as anywhere else. Please be careful. Never trust people who offer things that are obviously illegal or contrary to our Terms and Conditions of Use. If you're not sure of your interlocutor's honesty, try to get as much information as you can about him/her but if you can't gather enough so that you feel alright, then cancel the trading with that person. Better missing out on a bargain than losing your entire account!

Learn how to identify these types of websites and the ANKAMA Staff.

We only use official URL addresses and our websites are never hosted on free servers. Our administrators and moderators will always use clearly identifiable elements (for instance, in game = red text, characters will appear as a unique eagle or lion, on the forums = the mention administrator or moderator will appear under their name). In any case, they will never ask for your personal data (login and password).

In order to get compensation and / or the condemnation of the offender, legal action must be conducted by the victims themselves. However, we wish to inform these victims that ANKAMA will do its best to actively participate in the actions conducted by the victims. All the same, ANKAMA will join the complaints filed by the victims when possible and justified. Regarding fraud and infiltration into an automatic data processing system, ANKAMA will favour actions engaged by several victims altogether and won't hesitate to put them in touch to support their request.
